she is so very pretty, I love the contrast of her soft facial features with her rather extreme hairdo, and those shoes, I want a pair, very nice doll Elaine, I want to see her dressed. Kathie
This is one of the more pretty dolls I have ever seen, the way you paint her eyes is something unique, very much from your own magic. Congratulations for this one.
Everything about her is lovely, from her pretty shoes to her beautiful face. I love her petite, refined look. Monica
I think her hair is a little funny, but frames her face quite nicely. Did you apply a layer of clear gloss to the doll? Looking forward to seeing her dress.
Lizzie, I used several layers of matte varnish. And YES, her hair is bizarre! Here's an interesting link showing how to create these strange high hairstyles on a human: http://labricoleuse.livejournal.com/116796.html I think it's so interesting that dolls are used as historical reference for period costume design.
Fabulous dolls Elaine, I look forward to your little creations, keep it up,♥Judi
Hi Elaine! Wow - your dolls are so beautiful! I love the Apollo Knot. :) Can you imagine getting your hair up like that? Her shoes are so delicate and pretty. Lovely work! Pam
My goodness! This is my first visit to your blog and I am completely enchanted! Wonderful, amazing dolls!
