I had to take this doll completely apart to re-sculpt and re-paint. I found a styrofoam ball inside of her head. I scraped it out. I never use those any more because I like to cook the paper clay in a 200 degree oven to dry it now. I originally made this doll in 2009 and I really don't have any memory of sculpting her head. I think I must have craft-induced amnesia. |
I LOL'd when I read your title. And that she wants to wipe the slate clean. Don't we all?
ReplyDeleteEnjoying and being inspired by your makeover dolls. Your new little girl is perfection made over, for sure! Just wondering...have you counted how many cloth and clay dolls you have made?
ReplyDeleteShe turned out wonderful! I'm sure she is happy with her new sculpt.

Wouldn't it be great if we could do that with ourselves? "Doc, could you just go in and scrape out all the styrofoam? I need to think more clearly!"
ReplyDeleteI like Big-Headed Re-Done Girl's proportion and her sweet pensive expression.
