Little Wild Rose - Storybook Challenge doll

Little Wild Rose is from a Romanian fairy tale about a little girl who gets raised by eagles, in a nest in a tree.  Now I need to make an eagle and a nest.  She's for the Cloth and Clay storybook challenge.

  1. Your dolls are amazing, really beautifully made! I live in Sweden where we don't seem to have much going on when it comes to cloth doll making. I've just recently started doll making and have a lot to learn. For now I'm only making the heads out of cloth, but eventually I'd like to learn how to mould faces with paper clay or papier mache.
Best regards from Sweden through Monica!

  2. Elaine, you did it again! Wild Rose is just so precious. I love her messy hair and feathers on her skirt. Lucky eagles!

By the way I looked at your 1999 photos of your beautiful babies, wow - not only do you make beautiful dolls, you are pretty good at making beautiful children too.
