Valentine Party for Dolls

Edyth and I got together for lunch and fun times today at Edyth's house, while the dolls amused themselves with Valentine celebrations.

Edyth's dolls set up a lovely valentine writing station, where they wrote many notes of love and friendship to their friends.

When Edyth's dolls were finished, Elaine's dolls took over the station and started filling in their cards.

While the humans ate lunch, Elaine's dolls went for a ride in an antique doll carriage.  They pulled up in front of a case filled with wonderful, old friends.

The little doll in the red dress delivered her valentine to a very large friend.

Even Elvis, the bear, came to the party.

This beauty tranquilly watched as the guests played.

A blue eyed wax doll wore her fanciest bonnet to the party.

The china heads soon tired of the excitement and took to their bed.

The Elaine dolls posed for a final group shot before heading back home.  What a memorable Valentine party for these little dolls!

antique doll dress

I found this little dress at the Round Top antiques fair.  It will fit a 15-16" doll.  I am going to make a little person to fit into this dress!
