Sally

Sally is wearing a dress made from antique indigo fabrics that were cut from old quilt blocks.  The cheddar trim is also antique and cut from an old quilt.  Sally is 11 inches tall.

Sally has a wire armature skeleton, so she can be posed.

Sally rides her rocking horse side saddle, like a proper young lady.

Dolly Hannah, an Edyth/Elaine doll

Dolly Hannah is made from Edyth O'Neill's Izannah Walker pattern.  I designed and sculpted the head and face.  I also sewed Dolly Hannah.  Edyth painted her in oils.

Dolly Hannah wears a Civil War era child's dress, antique baby boots, and antique wool children's socks.

Dolly Hannah Devers was the name of my 4th great aunt, who lived in Scott County, Kentucky.

Edyth Gallery

I found two of Edyth O'Neill's primitive child paintings in an antique mall in Dallas this past weekend.  The five dolls posing in front of the pictures are Edyth creations and Edyth/Elaine dolls.  The paintings were done in 1977 in Fort Worth, Texas.
