| Avare Ann Patterson was the name of my third great grandmother. She was born in 1817 in Adair County, Kentucky. Isyphenia was the name of her older sister. Their father, John Newton Patterson, was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1784. Somehow, he ended up in Adair County, Kentucky. It's funny how things work out. |
